Re-registration from a private to a public company
Companies House is receiving a large number of telephone calls about the Software Filing of the statutory declaration required under section 43(3)(e) of the Companies Act 1985 [re-registration of a private company as a public company] . Although section 3A of section 43 makes provision for the delivery of an electronic statement of compliance in place of the statutory declaration, Companies House does not yet support the electronic delivery of this electronic statement of compliance. Consequently, the paper statutory declaration must be used until such time as electronic delivery of the statement of compliance is supported.
