New PROOF Customers To join the new Statutory PROOF scheme, you will first need to be registered for the WebFiling service. Once you have registered and completed the sign-in process the following screen (1) will appear. Simply tick the box to confirm that you have read and agreed with the terms and conditions and select ‘Join PROOF’. Screen 1
Screen 2 The following screen (2) will confirm receipt of your application to join the PROOF scheme and display the event date, type and submission number relating to your transaction. To proceed with your request, select the ‘continue’ button. This will generate 2 emails, the first (email 1) acknowledging receipt of your request, the second (email 2) confirming that the application has been accepted or rejected.
Email 1 The following (email 1) is generated to confirm receipt of your request. A further email will be sent (email 2) when the application has been accepted or rejected. This message has been generated in response to the company details submitted to Companies House WebFiling service on <dd/mm/yyyy>. N.B.: If registering for PROOF and filing Accounts or other document types during the same session, please check that acknowledgement and acceptance responses have been received for ALL transactions. Email 2 The following (email 2) will be generated once the application to join PROOF has been accepted. Confirmation of your acceptance into the PROOF scheme will be displayed in the new PROOF status box (Screen 3) on the WebFiling menu screen. This message has been generated in response to the company details submitted to the Companies House WebFiling Service on dd/mm/yyyy. Screen 3 The PROOF status box on the WebFiling menu page (screen 3) will confirm the company’s PROOF status. This can be found on the right hand side of the screen under ‘other tasks’.
