Reduction of Share Capital - Same Day Service Update

During December 2008, the London and Edinburgh Information Centres undertook a trial Same Day Service to process the Reduction of Share Capital using a Solvency Statement and we would like to thank all of our customers who took part.

Having been able to establish the level of demand for the service and the resources required to operate it, we are pleased to say that we will be able to offer a service going forward.

The service will not include reduction of share capital applications using a court order.

The service will continue whilst we calculate the level of fee that will need to be charged. However, there may be a short period when it will have to be suspended whilst we make the final arrangements. A further update will be provided as soon as we have the details.

Please note that when using this service we strongly recommend that full contact details are submitted with every application and customers need to note that the service is only offered in our London and Edinburgh offices. All envelopes must be clearly marked up as ‘same-day’ to ensure that they qualify for the service.
