New Fee for NLR1 Form - Annual Return for a Newspaper

On the 1st October 2009 a £10 fee was introduced for an annual return made under section 9 of the Newspaper Libel and Registration Act 1881 (Form NLR1). The return is usually filed in July each year therefore July 2010 will be the first time the £10 fee will apply to most newspapers.

The updated NLR1 form will be available on our website from 1st June 2010. After this date the current version of the form will still be accepted provided the £10 fee is attached.
